A surprising first preview of Elex 2 comes from the german magazine Gamestar with a trailer, screenshots and some information about the latest PB game. The Gamestar got to watch an early version of the game and spent an hour and a half talking to the piranhas. Most of the preview, however, is exclusive to Gamestar Plus subscribers.
Accordingly, Elex 2 takes place a few years after the first part and the player takes control of Jax yet again, who wants to warn people of a new threat. Similar to Gothic 2, the game is supposed to be an improvement of the first part. There are areas from the first game and completely new ones, the same applies to the factions. In addition, flying is now possible and there is a new moral system. Elex 2 is scheduled to release in 2022.
